Frank Leto and his band PANdemonium will play a free
concert at the Santa Fe Plaza on the evening of
Thursday, July 11, 2019
Santa Fe, New Mexico—Celebrated musician Frank Leto and his band PANdemonium will perform a free concert at the Santa Fe Plaza during the International Folk Art Market’s Community Celebration and Artist Procession on Thursday, July 11, 2019. The annual Artists’ Procession and Concert will take place from 5:30 to 8:45pm and feature more than one hundred Market artists. A colorful kickoff to the International Folk Art Market, now in its 16th year, the procession will be led by this year’s Honorary Chair Ndaba Mandela.
Frank Leto is a talented instrumentalist who plays Brazilian percussion, Afro-Cuban percussion, and Trinidadian Steel Drums. Frank’s band PANdemonium, features Frank on vocals, steel drums, and percussion. He writes all the music for the band which blends musical styles like reggae, ska, soca, calypso, samba, salsa, and zouk into his oqn unique sound. PANdemonium has recorded three World Music CDs: A Little Bit of Spice, PANdemonium, and Celebrations.
In addition to the free performance at the Santa Fe Plaza on Thursday, July 11, Frank Leto and PANdemonium will be kicking off The International Folk Art Market’s opening night celebration on Friday, July 12 on Museum Hill.
